We’re here for all the families in the Fort Smith & Fayetteville areas who need pediatric therapy services for their kids to thrive and gain independence. We work with schools, families and pediatricians from every corner of our community to help children gain the skills they need to enjoy play, school and family life.

Our therapists have a wide range of education and experience working with kids from birth through 21 years of age. Our facilities have been organized so we can offer four different types of pediatric therapy: physical, occupational, speech and feeding therapies.

If you believe your child could benefit from pediatric therapy, or you have any questions, give us a call at (479) 226-3409.

Pediatric Physical Therapy

Pediatric Physical Therapy

Dancing, jumping, rolling, swinging, throwing, bouncing, hopping—every movement you can think of is seen in our physical therapy areas! Our focus is on building your child’s strength, agility and self-confidence. Even tiny babies who have not met milestones like turning over or sitting up alone benefit from the core strength building exercises we introduce in their therapy programs.

Of course, we make these movements fun by incorporating toys, music and games. When they achieve their goals, there’s always plenty of praise and recognition for their achievements.

Pediatric Occupational Therapy

A child’s occupation is playing. As a child plays, they are unconsciously developing a hundred smaller skills like these:

  • Manipulating and controlling small objects
  • Successfully utilizing proper grasping of writing and kitchen utensils
  • Managing buttons and zippers
  • Controlling their fingers and hands
  • Perfecting their aim

Physical weakness, medical impediments or an inability to process varying sensory experiences can cause these skills to be difficult.

Pediatric Feeding Therapy

Fussy, picky eaters; miserable, traumatic mealtimes; poor nutrition and lack of growth—feeding problems can cause all these problems and more. We built our own Feeding Lab so we could expand our focus in this area and help more children.

With systematic, proven approaches, we can acclimate children to temperatures, tastes and textures. We can help them develop the motor skills to feed themselves. We can ease their transitions from bottle to soft foods and from soft foods to textured foods. We want mealtimes to become enjoyable family events again!
