Welcome to Little Hands at Play Therapy of Fort Smith and Fayetteville, Arkansas. We are pleased to be able to help improve the lives of children and families from Moffett, Roland, Sallisaw, West Fort Smith, Van Buren, Charleston, Paris, Greenwood, Fayetteville and other communities along the Arkansas River.

Our facility is the product of the brother-sister team, Jeremy and Jennifer Schalski. They built this therapy practice to offer parents the services and schedules they were asking for. The Schalskis have assembled a team of skilled therapists that are dedicated to helping children of all ages and all abilities grow!

Working with the Family and the Child

Working with the Family and the Child

Every time we begin working with a child, we also begin working with the family. Parents and other caretakers need to understand what specific difficulties we are addressing and what techniques can help. Together we make a stronger team. Our goal is a child who has the skills they need to thrive in life.

We address each child’s situation from a holistic viewpoint. Whatever a parent, teacher, or pediatrician has noticed that brought them to our door, we use all our skills to determine how we can help that individual child. A child with mobility difficulties may also benefit from pediatric occupational therapy. A child with communication troubles may also have a hard time eating. In each case, we have the skills for a well-rounded approach.
